Galveston veterinarian Dr. Ken Diestler People Doing Business Spotlight

Galveston is veterinarian Dr. Ken Diestler the center of this "people's Doing Business series in the spotlight. Dr. Diestler the animal hospital in Galveston, received the Good Samaritan Award in the category of visionaries, recognizing its commitment as the first intervention during Hurricane Ike. The award was given this medical Nice from Texas Veterinary Medical Foundation. Click here for two weeks, Dr. Diestler, along with its technical Lucy veterinarian, took refuge in the hospital, no electricity, no gasand no running water. For food, they ate meals for military personnel and distributes American Red Cross. The two veterinarians drove around Galveston in search of lost animals or sick. They also gave out bags of food movement, control of fleas, drugs and surveys to answer questions only, payment with "If you can," because so many have lost so much.
